About us
Zumsteg Consulting
We believe in entrepreneurs who set out to build something and are ready to take responsibility for it. Our task is to turn ambition into a structure others can understand, examine and take seriously.
For us this goes beyond figures and documents: trust is built where people communicate clearly, make their decisions traceable and hold up to critical questions.
Our mission is to prepare companies professionally along that path and to give them the structures they need for demanding conversations with capital providers.
Our vision is an economy in which sound entrepreneurial projects do not fail on poor preparation, but get the chance to be judged on a professional level.
Responsibility in the advisory work
Raphael Zumsteg
Founder and Managing Director
Capital rarely fails on the idea. It fails on missing structure.
Raphael Zumsteg
Raphael Niki Zumsteg, born in 1998, is the founder and Managing Director of Zumsteg Consulting, an entrepreneur and father based in Switzerland. His professional background is in finance and capital markets, in particular the structuring of corporate financing and the build-up of distribution and investor structures.
He comes from execution and knows both the requirements of family offices and institutional capital providers and the challenges of companies raising professional capital for the first time. That perspective shaped the approach of Zumsteg Consulting: preparing companies so that strategy, figures, documentation and communication form a solid basis for professional capital conversations.
His aim is to bring entrepreneurs to eye level with professional capital providers. Discipline, responsibility, clear execution and discreet collaboration shape every mandate. Zumsteg Consulting stands for individual support, independent advice and a structured preparation that makes companies understandable, reviewable and professionally presentable.
Way of working
How we work
- 01
On the company side
Zumsteg Consulting works on the side of the company seeking capital or financing.
- 02
Documented and approved
Documents, recipients and communication are approved by the client before use.
- 03
With clear boundaries
Legal, tax, regulatory and other specialist reviews are provided by qualified external specialists.
Role in the mandate
Advice on the company side, with clear boundaries

- 02 Preparation and structuring

Core message
Capital follows structure.
A capitalisation does not improve because more investors are approached. It improves when a company stands up to review before the first conversation.
- 01
Substance first
Figures, structure and documents are put in order before anything goes out.
- 02
Then documentation
From the ordered material comes a presentation that holds up under review.
- 03
Finally outreach
Only then are recipients proposed and, once you approve them, contacted.
Team
The people behind the mandate
Behind every mandate stands a fixed team with different professional backgrounds and a shared standard for how we work. Experience from finance and capital markets meets operational project management, professional client communication, positioning and modern AI systems. That is how we support our clients through the whole process: personally, reliably and with clear responsibilities.
First assessment
We review how solidly your project stands.
Describe your company, the project and the state of your documents. We review the enquiry and come back to clarify the next steps. Confidential documents and personal data of third parties do not belong in a first contact.
